Medicare -- By Martin Crutsinger of the Associated Press in the washingtonpost.com.  "Government Benefit Programs in Trouble" -- Crutsinger writes a comprehensive article based on the recent (Mar 25, 2008) Annual Report of The Boards of Trustees Medicare (shortened).  The annual report describes how the Medicare Part A (Hospitalization) Trust Fund is in danger of being insolvent by the year 2019, unless changes are made.  Very important to all Americans.  (Read)

Retirement/Boomers -- By Kelly Greene in the Wall Street Journal through MarketWatch.com --  "Getting Out of the Retirement Rut" -- A classic article about an issue that is seldom addressed.  Greene, who write stories of this nature so very well, alerts those who are finding themselves in less than happy retirements, and includes some suggestions to help themselves.  Very good "before and after" reading.  (Read)
